Visited Yandles Show at Martock in Somerset today. A great place for lovers of wood and tools for working with wood. We managed to come away without buying any more wood to add to Mr H's collection of wood for carving which is already probably enough to keep him busy for at least a year. But the African Blackwood, Purpleheart and other exotic woods were a sore temptation. Still, couldn't resist the show discount so came away with a detail carving knife, some tung oil for treating our oak garden furniture and a head torch for when I go out looking for snails in the dark.
We love popping into Martock if we are over that way, Mrs JWK goes to the craft centre and me to Yandles followed by a nice lunch at the cafe.
