    Hi all

Just in the process of sorting out my garden, pics on another post and wonder if any of you have used yard art or acrylic mirrors from company called Primrose.

Very modern garden eventually - hopefully! in London and always looking for ideas. Did use a mirror (real one) in my last project in a seaside house and it looked lovely.

    Any ideas ??

never done it myself, seen it done on tv, couple of things not mentioned though.

Leave an air gap behind mirror(but not water, as it may take backing off)

try not to use a glass mirror

    do you mean this company

I think they are a few mies from jnc 25 on the M25, they went bust, (honest) it said so on their website, but they got brought out, and prices seem to have come down.

just becuse on line they dont have any doesnt mean to say the local store has sold out, but I doubt they will get them back again, B & Q are like that.
They buy in some thing "expensive" it doesn't sell they reduce the price an it sells.

Just thought i would mention on the subject of mirrors in the garden. I have quite a few in ours and i painted the back of the mirrors with bitumastic which preserves them.

Yes I agree with you there W G that's how I got my garden 'rock' speakers they should have been £30 but we got them for £10 although I have to say B & Q did get some more in later but put them back at the old price of £30...so as you can imagine I was pretty chuffed Bob brought them for me! :D

Regarding mirrors in the garden I used (in our old garden)the standard glass type but treated the back and sealed the surround with sealent attached it to the wall and grew ivy round it, it made it appear as a little window through to next door very enchanting I must say.Hel.xxx.

I saw the same speakers, i think i got mine for aboout that. (they are not at all bad)

Did your local B & Q ever have the "roman column style" water butts? I think ours were around £300 or was it £150? well over priced what ever it was for a water butt.

    Hi all

I'll think i'll try the Primrose place online. Buy something cheap and see what I get!
No joy with B&Q unless anyone knows of one near Twickenham with "Yard art", they wont even pick up their phone !!
