      Aloha everyone,

Only a few hours before it's light enough to work in the garden. I hope to get quite a bit done whilst it's still mild and dry. :blue thumb:

      Keep well

      Aloha!

Good day and Happy New Year!

It is cloudy but still mild so before light, I snuck out and took down all my outdoor decorations. I did this early because I always do it on New Years and I'm going to be doing my Hilda Ogden impression today and I figured I'd get out there in the drizzle and back inside before I got the rollers pinned in!

The decorations are laying on the front hall carpet to dry and since I'll be baking and doing laundry this morning, it won't be so many trips up and down the cellar stairs to stow them. Each trip to change loads, I'll take down a load of lights or whatever to put them away.

I figure this will be a very relaxing day. Nothing is open for business and no unwanted calls are likely.

Have a lovely day all. ;)

We did quite a bit of gardening today and then I took Mrs Shiney into town for a very brief housecall to a patient (didn't need to go indoors as we were just delivering something). On the way home We popped into Tesco for a few fresh salad type things and I was reminded why I usually only go at 6 a.m. It was busy and a lot of customers weren't wearing masks.

We need to do some work in the garden almost every day! It's lovely having a big garden but keeping it looking nice is hard work. I'm working fairly hard on the front garden as that is what is seen a lot more in the winter. It's surprising the number of compliments we get from delivery people and the postman always says he enjoys watching how the garden changes over the seasons - if he likes a plant we are usually able to give him a pot grown one or dig up a bit. He says that half the plants in his garden are from us :)

Our front garden is 100ft x 85ft :phew: and the weeds spread like mad. :rolleyespink:

                          Good morning everyone.:)

Same here I have lots of jobs to do out there. Now that the house is back to normal and the decorations are safely stowed away I can return my attention back onto the garden. I can always find something to do no matter what time of year.

                          Have a super day. :spinning:
