Merry Christmas all. only 10AM here. just made ricotta cheese pancakes for breakfast with some uncured bacon. and hot coffee . no presents opened yet. we are just hanging. quiet day. Later will try my hand at putting together a lobster bisque (have the shells all simmered the other day, and liquid reduced) just have to herb combo etc. then later an easy dinner for us. crab meat quiche a veggie, and wine. some chocolate truffles for dessert. Tuesday back to work and its left overs for a week. I hate wasting food.
    Noted a few snow flakes.

I am on kitchen duties today - we're spreading it out a bit, mainly because we are all feeling lazy :snorky:

Cheeky fried egg sarnie for breakfast, prawn cocktail as a starter/lunch, and the full turkey dinner is currently cooking. I have definitely overdone it with the number of roasties though.......

            Aloha everyone,

The sun is coming up and I shall wrap up warm and do some gardening after we've had a walk along the river. This evening we're popping over to my sister for a light supper and chat with friends. :dbgrtmb:

            I always enjoy myself

@Gail_68 I hope you're enjoying your festive season.

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

Sun was out and we went walking. The wind was a bit nippy but it was just above freezing. I've now done some gardening, had a rest and shall now go out and clean all the bird feeders. It's a mucky job and requires both a normal screwdriver and a Philips. :noidea: The pheasants are out there waiting for me to do it. :rolleyespink:

Happy Tuesday. 4 days to work this week, if you call what I do anymore. Or trying to look busy, don't tell my boss. have a quick meeting at 1PM today. Have to pick up my pork roast for New Years day, today or tomorrow. I get senior discounts at this food store on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. And later stopping by the Pet store for cat food, and senior discount there also, on the last Tuesday of the month.
Happy Boxing day to you all. We have leftovers to eat here.

                        Hello!

Happy Christmas for yesterday! I tried to find a spare minute to wish you all a happy Christmas yesterday but I was on the go all day, we had 16 here! Roast turkey & beef for lunch (brilliantly cooked by Kev) & then cold table. My nieces & nephew kept me busy! I was head of house, cheif dishwasher loader & spent the rest of the time talking! (I know you will find that hard to believe!) anyway a good day was had by all, it really was good fun...today I feel tired! :old:.

My kitchen is almost finished, I just have the floor to choose now
. I'm delighted with it, it works really well & looks so posh! :dbgrtmb:

My poor garden has been a bit neglected whilst sorting out the kitchen, I feel like I have a lot to do out there, but that's nothing I can't handle :).

I hope you are all keeping well & have managed to stay away from all the darn colds which seem to be flying around?
