      I've got a luncheon to attend today. At a place that has a nursery - I shall try not to be tempted to purchase any more plants...

      It is quite chilly and windy out there right now but the sun is strong so it will be a good day for sorting the rest of the wiring from the batteries to the greenhouses. I had one cable fail and I snipped the wrong one :doh:so decided to pull all of the cables to sort them out. This time labelling every one of them. Got the power going to the batteries but still need to hook up the power coming back out. At least it no longer resembles a pile of black spaghetti out there. :rolleyespink:

      Got a few items left to pick up and will do that today. I don't really care for shopping on the weekends and Monday is a bank holiday. Then I will have everything I need to pack for my trip. :)

                  We got a lot done in the garden yesterday. The main part now is to start tidying up, moving things around and start the organising of things for next weekend. I picked up three 1 litre bottles of Pimms whilst out shopping yesterday. Tesco had it on offer (only another day or so to go on the offer) for £12 per bottle. Sainsbury's is selling it at £21 per bottle!!!

                  After all the problems we've had with the computer, and we're still rebuilding the software and getting it to run properly, the monitor decided to be naughty. The bottom quarter of the screen went white two days ago! I tried all the usual rebooting the computer, switching things off and on, looking at the driver details etc. Tom brought round a spare screen and that worked properly so I needed a new one. :sad: So I decided to get a large one and now have, still sitting in its box, a 27" monitor (us oldies need all the help we can get :old: :snorky:). I'll let Tom set it up - too many wires dangling out the back of a monitor for me to sort out.

                    Good morning everyone, it turns out I have acute anaemia. The doc wanted me to go to the hospital straight away but I said I would give the iron tablets a go first and see what happens. Must admit I am very weak and wobbly on my pins and even swimmy when I lay down.

                    I am afraid that unless I get better by next weekend I shall not be well enough to join the garden party which would be a great pity as I was looking forward to it.

                      @moyra Sorry to hear about your anaemia. At least it's something that is easily controlled. Make sure you're taking your tablets and try to have a diet that's high in iron.

                      This is a fairly good summing up of foods.

                            I've one more sleep here in Canada. About 10ish on Tuesday morning, would everyone kindly move north of Gatwick to stop the island tipping when I land :snorky:

                            Got a vew new plants to put in place and a bit of tidying to do today. It is cloudy, but not unpleasant so I shall have a good day :)
