        Morning everyone...where are you all!

        Hope everyone survived the cold, wind and rain yesterday. Thought that we were going to have to build an ark of some sort as the rain was relentless!!

        We are in for a dry morning before the heavy rains return this afternoon so I will have a quick check on the garden then do a bit of tidying up on the over wintering plants in the greenhouse and cold frames.

                  Morning all, my emails didn’t give me an alert today, so I thought I’d better check your all still here :snorky: and here you all are nice and happy :)

                  Blue sky here with frost so we are going getting our shopping done while it’s dry, yesterday was crazy, really big blobs of rain and heavy winds :windy:

                  Verdun, we have a lot of seagulls here, the recycling business behind us seems to attract them :thinking:.

                    I noticed that two days ago. I counted somewhere around sixty on the lawn under the feeders. They weren't bothering to eat from the feeders as they were letting the other birds chuck a load of seed on the ground. Haven't seen so many for years.

                    About thirty years ago we calculated that we had close to a thousand in our laurel hedge. In the evenings it was difficult to talk to people on our patio for the noise the sparrows made.
