        I must admit that personalities winning awards is of no interest to me :noidea: but I applaud 'normal' people getting recognition for outstanding work and contributions to local society. :blue thumb:

        I'm still getting a little bit done in the garden each day and it's mainly pressure hosing at the moment. I need to take the opportunity whilst the hose doesn't freeze up and the wind isn't blowing all the spray over me :heehee:

            No, awards don't bother me either @shiney , never watched award programmes/ ceremonies. But certain categories can sometimes prove helpful in judging a newly released film. In this case she was truly justified in winning ' best actress ' :dbgrtmb:

                    The neighbour down the road has asked us to look after Sarafi for a week whilst they're away in Spain. :hate-shocked: We told them that we're happy to do it but he can't come indoors apart from the kitchen. Our furniture is not suitable for a cat in residence as we have carpets and a leather suite and he does a lot of claw sharpening. We found out why we see him around our garden all the time and why he spends so much time sleeping in the heated propagator in our greenhouse (we leave the door open enough for him to get in). Apparently they don't have a cat flap so I guess they do the old traditional thing of putting the cat out at night. So all we have to do is feed him - and cuddle him which Mrs Shiney does anyway.

                      How are you all doing? Sadly my back has decided to have a bit of a grumble these last few days.Not sure exactly what has set it off but as I have osteoporosis in my lower spine I had better listen to it and do as it tells me to do.:recliner:
