I've only had my bad back for the last 67 years. That's when they learnt I had a problem with it. :rolleyespink:

Just been onto the vet and have been able to secure an appointment for Amber to have a check over and her nails clipped. She wont let me near them and tends to walk only on grass!
Means I shall have to take her for a walk earlier than usual so she is as comfortable as is possible while they check her over. She has a few lumps on her body but when they first appear they checked it and I was told it was a fatty lump. So just hope the other lumps also check out to be the same.

Fatty lumps are a worry Moyra. First time I spotted one on my old labrador all kinds of fears and worries emerged. However, it was just a fatty lump, dogs usually get them and they are nothing to worry about apparently.
Best wishes for Amber and hopefully she will be just fine :)

Good morning everyone, hope all the bad backs are all on the mend. Well £312.16 later Amber is ok. Lot of money to have her nails cut and a check over but I did get flea and worm control for a year included in that so hopefully no more visits to the vet for another year!
Have a great day all wrap up warm and dry and above all stay safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

                            Aloha everyone,

@moyra That's good news that Amber is OK :blue thumb:

The second visit from our new gardener is due today. :fingers crossed: Loads of cutting back is the order of the day. The big grasses and pampas can all go on the bonfire and the Crocosmia leaves (giant bunches of them) can go in the recycling as they're too tough for composting. That will take a couple of hours. I also need him to saw down the thicker stumps of the Viburnum that were too big for me to lop. Bending and using a saw is out of the question for me. :noidea:
8 a.m. and he's just turned up :dbgrtmb:

We start cat sitting from tomorrow. :cat-kittyandsmiley:

Keep well and have a great day

                            Aloha!

                            Morning all :)

Glad to hear that Amber is all OK and ready to face 2019 with a clean bill of health @moyra :dbgrtmb::doggieshmooze:

That reminds me @shiny ..must start cutting back things in my Dad's garden, absolutely loads to do there too. Will let my back recover properly and attempt that task next week I think.

                            Have a super duper day!
