    Beautiful scenes awaited us this morning, looking out over the fields and woodlands, they were 'sugar coated ' in frost. Stunning!!

    Makes me even more aware that instead of 'wanting more' out of our lives we should just stop and appreciate what we already have!!

      I do miss these wondrous sights, but ...

      Wrap up and keep warm all of you. We were 7c this morning but tomorrow morning forecast for 11c but light showers are expected and day temps 15-17c for the week with sun and clouds.

        Good morning everybody :)
        Some rain earlier but now blue skies appearing. Another sunny warmish day like yesterday please :). Not had any really cold weather so far and I am confident it will remain like that through to spring :snorky:
        Today or over the weekend I will be looking for a couple of suitable shrubs for my niece's new garden. The theme is quality not quantity so spending a little bit more for the "perfect" plant is on the cards:). An excellent local nursery will be the first visit :)

          Aloha everyone,

          When I got home about 11.30 last night the car said the temperature was -4C. This morning, when I went shopping at 5.30 there was only a light frost and it was -3C. I'm just off out into the garden to cut back some more leaves on the Hellebores - we must have about 500 of them.

          Sarafi insisted on coming in at 5.30 and after a bit rubbing up against my legs he promptly went to sleep. He was still asleep when I got home but woke up quickly when I opened a packet of food for him :heehee:. I then allowed him another hour of sleep before putting him back outside. He went straight into the greenhouse and into his heated propagator and was asleep withing a minute. His humans return tomorrow.

          @Upsydaisy it seems that you are feeling somewhat better. :blue thumb:

              Morning!(well there’s an hour left of the morning :snorky:)

              Cloudy here today but very cold. I’m feeling rotten so having a day inside again and still in my pjs! however i have managed to clean the stainless steel stove-blooming nightmare task getting it to be streak free.

              Have been watching some beautiful birds out the kitchen window...robins, tits, fieldfares and a beautiful red kite (maybe looking for smaller birds as a snack lol). I’m feeling very lucky to live somewhere so beautiful. :)
