Yet another unexpected refund! Really, it's all lies about the economic squeeze - they're just giving it away. All I have to do is fill in my bank details online. Sounds fair enough to me.

Lucky you - Claralou. :D I have had one of those.

Though I am sure that you appreciate that HM Revenue and Customs stands for Hungarian Mastercriminals Revenue. And their Custom is to rip people off. Well we all have to make a crust somehow. :hehe:

Huh. I only get a measly £188 refund and Daisees gets nearly a grand! I wonder if there's a 'tipping point' at which the scam works best? A hundred quid - not worth the risk. Five grand - too improbable. Seven hundred and sixty-two pounds and fifty-three pence - yes! That just has to be genuine!

I'm boasting because mine was genuine :yho::yho::yho:

A differently worded letter and the money (£127) straight into my bank account without me having to do anything. :gnthb:

We're off to the Chilli Festival on Sunday so might spend some of it there. :thumb:

    nice one.

I only get one of those letters that tells me that my tax code is something really stupid and that they will rip me off for as much money as they can.
