Yellow Flag Iris

    Should I divide my Iris. There is a huge clump growing in my pond, they usually flower well, but this year I have only got one flower :confused: I know you have to divide the ones on dry land, but the huge clumps that grow in the wild still flower. Any ideas please [​IMG]

    I always divide my flags every few years, and there are always plenty of flowers. Apart from anything else, if I didn't there would be no space left for the frogs to do what comes naturally (see lots of other threads on that subject!)

    PS When I divide them do I cut them back, like the ones in the borders ?
