Can anyone kindly provide me with guidance on the planting of yellow/hay rattle in my wild garden.

    Questions:

    >Will planting from seeds be successful (rather than plugs)?

    >If so, how & when should the seeds be planted?

    >Any recommendations for buying hay rattle on-line?

Hi Cutty Dyer & [IMG].. A lovely plant to want to sow & it's origins are not far from you as it originated in Somerset, so hopefully you will be successful.. It does require certain conditions as do all wild flowers... My S i L has managed to naturalise several patches now.. In saying that he lives on a arm & has an area specially as a wildflower meadow up there...
He has used THESE peole very successfully.. These are their instructions, which I am sure will help you.. :thumb:
