Weeks ago I bought the usual plug plants ....petunias,geraniums,busy lizzies etc.Everythings come on great and I'm planting out some nice plants...But not the Impatiens, from day one they have been slow growing and a lot of the leaves are yellow.
Even more so now they are in the beds and baskets. They've been kept from day one with the other plants under cover...same light/watering/compost...everything else is fine. What have I done wrong with these?

East Midlands...We have had one or two chilly nights.I've thought about the feeding but how is that achieved if they are too wet?
Or am I worrying too much?

Hi Raebhoop. could be as Spruce said Cold/Wet . up here in the Central Belt, Scotland ,this month so far has been exactly that COLD/VERY WET.. so much so i have not put out any young plants yet ,i am hanging off till the earth warms up a bit ,and that cold East wind stops blowing. as i have been caught out a few times in the past planting young plants and the inclement weather taking its toll on the young plants ..

Yeah...maybe the cold nights, although it's been pleasant here the last few weeks during the day...I posted pictures hours back but the mods haven't cleared the post yet...I guess they have to check out newbies?

    Thanks for the answers.
