I have a nice little bay shrub in a pot which I've had for years. This year the leaves are yellowing so it's obviously missing something. Anyone know what i should add to the soil to revive it?
    Thanks

Hi Beanie It could be a touch of over watering
or bad drainage ,the one I have ,I raised it a little by placing some bricks under It and just let It dry out a for a while The usual maxim is not to feed a sick plant (with Bay)but this Is Purely My own personal opinion.

Beanie. My own opinion is PLANT IT OUT, the simple answer often works I will post a picture of my bay tomorrow when light allows.

Beanie, if you've had it for years, why is it still small? It should have grown a bit by now. Take Sarras advice and plant it out or at least repot into fresh compost. It will require very little water this time of year.

I don't know what but something has ravaged the leaves on my bay tree. I planted it out last year. Hope it picks up this year.
