I guess we've all had this but, some of my tomato truss stems have continued to grow beyond the actual fruit and have produced small clusters of leaves. One or two of these are 5"-6" long and still going.

Never absolutely sure whether or not to remove these I have, in the past, adopted the 'take some off, leave some on' approach, neither methods seems to make any appreciable difference so, I was wondering ... Is there a correct method to deal with these?

I tend to remove this excess foliage. There's no need for it. Usually trim off the lower leaves beneath trusses also airating the plant and leaving more nutients for the fruit.

You suggest, as I suspected, removal. I don't see the need for them either so, thank you for that.
