During the night one, or more, snails have clearly held a dance on my lounge window - the sun is now shining through their tell-tale trails. Yeuk!

... not as bad as going to put the bin bags out and finding them covered in large, mustard coloured slugs.:(

There's something really gross about finding slugs inside the house. The thought of stepping on one, should you get up in the middle of the night for a glass of water...

I have an agreement with the slugs that inhabit my garden. If they come anywhere over my threshold then I blow them to kingdon come with my machine gun.:thmb:
Spiders are also told of this rule but somehow they dont seem to hear me too well.
I had to evict 2 spiders over the weekend and they left saying that their relatives will come to see me soon.:skp:

Look carefully at those slime trails - they may be trying to send you a message!

If you leave a few conkers around the place, you won't get any spiders.

I am going to have to do that. I'm not so brave as my Mum who just picks them up with her bare hands and puts them out on the lawn. I'm afraid I resort to the dust pan and brush or even the hoover. :gnthb:

The strangest thing is that she gets those very long legged small bodied spiders whereas I get those black chunky ones with hobnail boots on.

You should try having cats, and living in the country. We *never* walk about in the middle of the night without putting a light on, and looking where we place our feet...

    Cheers
