yey! peppers

I honestly didn't expect my pepper plants to grow at all (grown from seed). But there's little buds forming!


The only thing is, they are taking over my greenhouse, I might have to bring 2 out and see if they grow outdoors and keep the others in!

 

15"-18" apart will do, you can probably get 4 on a shelf at roughly that spacing?

 

Nice one Snowbaby. What variety please? Are they chilli or capsicum?

Not chilli, I think the packet called them sweet peppers

Those plants look good Snowbaby. I've grown sweetpeppers before in a greenhouse like yours. The slugs and snails were a big problem - they could by-pass any coppertape around or matting under the pots. The other thing was they take so long to mature, then ages to ripen. The frosts were coming before they were all grown. We got a few though and they tasted great, so good luck.

I took 2 plants out, the slugs have been munching them! The 3 in the greenhouse are coming along nicely still. Fingers crossed!

 

I've grown mine in pots on the windowsill in the lounge. They were mini peppers and have had about twenty peppers so far. They look great. I just keep mine we'll watered and also used a soft paintbrush to pollinate the flowers as they opened. Seems to have done the trick!
