    12 ozs Plain Flour
    Milk
    6 to 8 eggs
    pinch salt
    pinch pepper

whisk all together, use enough milk to make a batter mixture not too thick not to runny.

    put gas oven high 8
put a little lard in each yorkshire pudding tin
then put it in top of hot oven for about 10 minutes until lard is sizzling.
pour batter mixture into tins almost to the top.
put into oven take about 20 minutes dont open the door until they are risen crispy brown.

That all there is to it, the rising is to do with all the eggs. ENJOY

I always make this one, I have the recipe from my Auntie. Makes 12

    Pre-heat oven to 230°C

3 heaped large spoons plain flour
    good pinch of salt
    1 egg
milk, enough to make up to about the 200ml mark

Mix well, let rest for about a 1/2 hour
Put fat in popover tins and heat until smoking, then pour mix in
    Bake about 20 minutes

Hi, Fancy, I've heard of people eating it with jam before. My cousin also told me earlier this year that you can make up double and freeze half just to re-heat at a later date. I did this and it worked beautifully.

Girls the more eggs the better, my friend does them this way also and a large great big fat yorkie is what you will get cant fail.
Also a top chef on tv does them this way he said you may think all that many eggs but believe me it works Enjoy [IMG] [IMG]

forgot to say my dear friends the 12 ozs of flour mixture is enough for toad-in-the-hole, dont forget to cook your sausages first, did it the other day massive yourkshire pud in between the sausages, lovely with creamy mashed potato done with butter and hellmans mayonnaise, yum yum.
with gravy and garden peas [IMG] [IMG]

May well give the Yorkshire Puds a go Rosa even though I am a veggie so can't combine it with the traditional stuff.

There is just something delicious about Y. Puds and I have so many eggs right now I don't know what to do with them. I make a really good omellette, however (with chilli sauce, of course!) ;)

    Kind regards
    Roy
