Any little digital camera that will take short videos will do. I use a Lumix DMC LZ7.

You need to go onto YouTube and register.

E-mail address, a user name and a password of your choice.
Take your video and then upload it from your camera to your computer.
I temporarily put mine on my "desktop" so it's easy to find.

Log on to Youtube and then click on your user name.

    Select "My videos"

At the top you'll see "Browse. TV Shows. Upload"

    Click on Upload.

You'll then see a screen headed "Video file upload."

Click on the little yellow box which says "Upload video."

That'll bring up another screen with a search box at the top which says "look in"
Find the file in your computer, then the recording, or if like me you've put the recording on your desktop, open "desktop" just click on the file and then click on "open" at the bottom.

This will take you back to YouTube.

You'll see the file being uploaded and the rate it is transferring.
There's boxes for title, description and privacy settings, like whether you want to allow people to comment on your video etc. which you can fill in and just click on "Save changes" it doesn't matter that the file is being uploaded at the same time.

You can minimise YouTube whilst you do something else with your computer but you mustn't close it while it's uploading.

When it's done, it can take up to an hour depending on your connection and how busy the site is, you can view your video.
The files are limited to about ten minutes of recording.

It's dead easy to do. I've about thirty videos on YouTube, mostly of my jukeboxes.

To share your video, click on the address at the top and paste it into your message on here, or onto an e-mail if you want to send it to a friend..

Thanks all! Glad you enjoyed it.

Actually, the foxgloves were an accident. I had sown a few seeds a couple of years ago which flowered beautifully. Then last year I was amazed at the hundreds of little seedlings that were growing. An absolute carpet of them. But sadly, only a small number made it through the winter. This was my first experience with them so next year, I shall know what to expect. I think they're a stunning flower. Some of them are six feet tall!

As for the lawns, they're both roughly kidney shaped. I started off with one big square and decided I wanted to give more ground over to flowers than to grass which I had to keep cutting!
