I found young Henry today when I went into the polytunnel, he'd obviously sneaked in when I'd left the door ajar. I tried some photos in the tunnel but it was difficult to get near him due to all the plants, but later in the day I found him snuffling his way across the lawn.
I've seen an adult about the garden and it's nice to know there's at least one juvenile too.

He seems to be quite bold as he didn't flinch when our son fed him some worms from the compost bin. (This pic isn't so sharp as it's a crop of a frame from a video grab)

Lovely DaveW and thanks for the pics.
In my last garden we had hedgehogs and I used to hear them during the day when they were lying under the bushes having a little snore. It was funny.
We saw the babies going about, like little Lees Macaroon snowballs (Scottish members will know what that is, but little creamy balls covered in chocolate and coconut).
In this garden I have only seen 1 hedgehog and never saw it again.
    Enjoy your hedgehog.

    0) Hi there stranger .. nice to see you again.

Young Henry is truly lovely ... in all the years here I have only seen a few and sadly to say slightly flat on our backroads ... :(

I'm sure your youngster will thrive wilth you.

    Thanks for sharing. xx
