    Hi there,

I have a group of Yucca plants, I got rid of black spots on leaves last year using a fungicide and cutting away any infected leaves. Following this, it flowered last year for the first time!

This year the spots have come back on a couple of plants with white tips on the leaves. Any help much appreciated!

I find the black spotting to be a big problem on certain yuccas.
I've never found a reliable way of stopping it, they just don't like our soggy winters I think.
It's often worse in mild wet winters than dry cold ones, but then we often get a mix of both.
I often wonder if a religious spraying routine during the winter would stop it, also finding the right fungicide is not easy as most of the good ones are now banned.

      Hi Pete,

Thanks for your helpful inputs. Yes I have tried to find a fungicide but many available any more. I use Provanto Fungus Fighter Plus. Any other suggestions?

Any thoughts on the white disease-looking tips of the leaves?? Have included a pic in the original post.

      Thank you!

      Amit

I think the white tips are just part of the same problem, its die back caused by, presumably the same fungal problem.
If you ever grow Agave plants you could find a similar problem that really causes the same effect mostly black spots that ruin the plant.
