    Screwed up newspaper and torn up corrugated cardboard can also be mixed in with the green material. This will help let some air into materials like grass clippings.Paul

    Might try that. We have Willows in this area and it is low lying and near a river so they should take off easily.

    Faaantastic! We're getting fresh sets of pots soon, i was thinking of painting them, drilling them and planting them up! So glad this works and i'm not the only nutter that thought of it xD
