french beans started flowering early....
Hi Ooshmi, I'm in London too and my climbing french beans have started flowering too. Once the beans start producing be sure to pick often, this will encourage further flowering/beans.

Hiya. I believe K/Wonder grow to around 4ft? In terms of space, I would guess that you have enough room for a row, as you suggest. My only concern would be that there might not be enough light....

Bolting Onions
Hiya nFrost I can only speak of my own experience. I've only once had seed grown Onions bolt, whereas set grown have pretty much always bolted, not tried heat treated ones though.

Advice on pinching out shoots on tomato plants
It will look very much like the main stem (same leaves etc), it will be growing from the leaf joint. Yes, the leaves are the plant's food factory so they must remain

Expensive 'spring onions'
Mine's doing OK above the ground, 1.255 metres high (over four feet): It wont grow much more as the scapes are coming; Exactly how they were used! There were some really weedy ones...
