    Crop rotation.

    I used to rotate crops but haven't done so for about 20 years. I've found that proper digging and good fresh compost each year works OK for me.

    Cauli's failed again

    Only summer Cauli I've grown with success is Candid Charm. That does a really good job of making a good head IMHO. Firm ground is important but I've not always bothered. Don't sow them too late...
