    Looking for a decent climbing Borlotti bean

    The wind killed most of my tender beans last year. I grew some Red Mullet beans which only got to a couple of feet, produced a pod each & then died.

    I like the idea of anorexic leeks :loll: and they do look a bit like that! When using for a meal, I need 3 or 4 at a time. Maybe it was too dry for them (as suggested by JWK above) - quite likely...

    Tomatoes in grow bags or?

    You and me both Vince! I bought cheap B & Q buckets some years ago and made holes in the bottom for drainage, then filled with B & Q multi-purpose compost and had good plants and crops in them....
