I've never heard of Feltham First doing that before. There only saving grace is that they are the earliest/quickest to mature variety from a really early sowing normally.

You could just put the stone in a polythene bag (the re-sealable type) with some damp vermiculite and put it in the airing cupboard or on a boiler; somewhere warm.Wait until they germinate...

Glad it's worked out Lisa. It's difficult to grow perfect plants, especially vegetables. They can tolerate the loss of a few leaves.
