Yup, plenty of holes in the bases. We added a fair few more when we brought them last year. Why they thought two diddy holes would suffice a tub of that size, beats me!

Before you give up on toms completely, have a look at this:They're meant for hanging baskets though, but I'm sure with a bit of ingenuity you could easily sort them somewhere to live.

I grew these several years ago after RHS Wisley had a few specimens in the Penelope Hobhouse garden. Ruby Moon was the variety. I wasn't aware at the time that they were edilble so I just grew...

Hi ARMANDII.I too have tried Rosada, which I found was superb when cooked in the oven, SO sweet. But I thought they were a little dry when eaten raw. Trust me, try Sungold :WINK1:

I save runner beans seeds every year, and the very last ones can be a bit manky.So if these have been out all winter, I suggest you have a backup in place.
