My chillies aren't hot!
They seem to get hotter towards the stalk, having tried a couple from a plant I bought at the Chilli Festival. Its deceiving, at first they seem mild then as you nibble more - whamo!

Hope you washed them first , could be the next door,s cat. Only joking , not sure never come across this problem. Can only think it is somthing that has got onto the toms ie chemical of some sort.

as long as the the colouration does not rot, gets soft of any sorts, then for ur sqash to go orange is absolutely normal Let it grow till end of this month to have a nice ripe fruit!!

I sometimes had the same problem.I think its similar to blossom end rot in tomatoes.The other cause could possibly be that the plant is trying to support too many fruit. Thinning the fruits...
