i've had my pot's in a container since probably may and th efoliage keeps coming and from what i can see i only have marbles under the soil !! something wrong perhaps ??

I believe it's around this time of year that you can plant a few spuds in the tunnel ready for christmas. This is my first year in the tunnel, not sure if I should add anything to the soil to aid...

I presume you mean runners? Just stick them into the ground and they will root. Once they have rooted sever the runner from the main plant and just let it do its thing!
