Hello all,going back a few months I bought a Rubus Idaeus "fall gold". (yellow raspberry)So alls good , and I have raspberries growing, but as some have started to riped they have gone red?So , the Q is, are they prone to doing this, or perhaps the plant I purchased was labeled...

First time I've grown roma toms Shiney! I guess it would help if I read the seed packs too I just find them so tasty - I have some in the greenhouse and some out in the garden as well.

A type you may wish to try for next year is a Thompson and Morgan seed called Sub-Artic-Plenty.It's an out of doors bush tomato. Excellent cropper and can withstand quite cool weather. Small but sweet toms.

Well they're poking out the roof vents at this point, so yes I do chop off at the top to stop things getting too tangled etc (this weekend probably). Otherwise I leave pretty much alone and they're fine. I've seen arguments rage back and forth on pruning/not pruning in general (suckers etc) so...

Damage, shallots go in on the shortest day and out on the longest. Garlic goes in in September and out in August.:thumb::D And onion seed is traditionally sown on Boxing Day.

the greenhouse is clear plastic and i open the door flap in the morning and close it for the night, i actually think you might be closer with the over-crowding ,

Don't worry, I usually water in the morning and in the evening!!!

Thanks tweaky , buying in pots from the supermarket is an excellent idea. I will buy some later this summer for my second crop.
