Next steps advice for clearing nettles and turning into veg bed
As I cannot dig, I find that pulling nettles works well. They come up root and all.

Are they in the dark? Usually the sprouts only get long if the spuds are in the dark.Main Crop should be ok for another month I would think.

Jerusalem Artichokes - Anyone else growing them this year ?
I used to grow them and they made a very good soup. We don't grow any root veg nowadays
As they discolour so easily it's best to dip them in acidulated water when preparing them.
