    Use a very dilute soap solution and spray twice a day (but not in fun sun) - you need either horticultural soap (expensive) or a cheap household supermarket pure one with no additives (I use Lenor)

    How to distinguish between Vegetables

    Courgette/Marrow will be stronger bigger and squat, cucumber and melon are more straggly and will try and climb - leave them long enough and they develop clinging tendrils.

    So jealous @Zigs! Mine have only just got flowers buds!Always grown strawbs in pots with no probs except slugs.. I sprinkle pellets on the floor and put copper strips up the sack/pot diagonally....
