Garlic's not looking bad
Blood fish & bone dug in, mulched with well rotten horse manure over winter, scattered chicken poo pellets around them yesterday prior to weeding so they got worked in a bit.

I know it seems a faff but anything even down to news paper thrown over outdoor stuff will help on things you can't bring in

What would you grow then in a shadier spot? Its not completely shaded - it does get a bit of sun. Want to place a couple of grow bags there and make use of the space.

I was thinking as they are honey suckle they might benefit from leaf mulch but ive read they dont seem do be fussed which soil
