I've had this same problem this year, perhaps worse because my tree is heavily laden with fruit??Either way it appeared on some fruit long before they were ripe, I removed all that I could reach and disposed of them which did the trick but as the fruits are now ripening its back with a vengeance

I've had leaf beet AKA chard/perpetual spinach grow to around 2m high when gone to seed. It happens regularly if you grow enough of the stuff and I grow hundreds of them as greenstuff for our hens. Seeds need to be sown in open ground for optimum growth and in fertile soil plus kept moist.

Looking thru my seed box discovered a packet of climbing french beans Unwins Sultana, soaked them overnight will plant them later today hopefully they will come on when the runners have finished.

@intel, it's early for the plants to finish, should keep going for a couple of months - until we get cold nights. Some of the lower leaves will yellow before then but not all. I wonder if yours...
@intel, it's early for the plants to finish, should keep going for a couple of months - until we get cold nights. Some of the lower leaves will yellow before then but not all. I wonder if yours are getting enough nutrients, they need feeding regularly with a high potash food same as tomatoes...
