    I've had this same problem this year, perhaps worse because my tree is heavily laden with fruit??Either way it appeared on some fruit long before they were ripe, I removed all that I could reach and disposed of them which did the trick but as the fruits are now ripening its back with a vengeance :frown:

    I've had leaf beet AKA chard/perpetual spinach grow to around 2m high when gone to seed. It happens regularly if you grow enough of the stuff and I grow hundreds of them as greenstuff for our hens. Seeds need to be sown in open ground for optimum growth and in fertile soil plus kept moist.

    @intel, it's early for the plants to finish, should keep going for a couple of months - until we get cold nights. Some of the lower leaves will yellow before then but not all. I wonder if yours...
