Garden Visits

If anybody's going to the Cheshire Show at Tabley tomorrow (Wednesday) keep an eye out for us (we'll have at least one black and tan with us) and say hello.

going to trentham gardens on sunday, hubby wants to go to a car show that is being held there, so we will go round the gardens as well . some thing for hubby and me , hubby is into cars and me the flowers .

We hope so too, Pete. The man at the nursery where we bought it last year, spoke of the old plants producing side bulbs, then dying off. Just hope that our plant knows this and has taken care of its offspring!

Before you know it the veg will be getting less and less.:D

Sounds like a lovely day out. When my Mum and I were in Glasgow, we were upset not to have enough time to visit Greenback. Hopefully we'll see it on our next visit Are you going to share some of your photographs? I'd love to see them

It's obvious that it is too far for us to come, shiney, but I hope that a few of our GC members manage to.

I love Chatsworth House and will be going to the game fair at the end of the summer but I've never been to a plant fair there. Let us know what it was like:thumb:

YEARS ago we went on the horse drawn canal boat at Llangollen and the business was for sale (boat, horses and small cottage) we fancied it at the time but didn't go for it but have often thought over the years what an idyllic lifestyle it would have been.

Many times, you can hire bikes and cycle round the lake which is fantastic. The church is nice inside too, and the walled garden. They have open air theatre there in the summer though I haven't gone to any.

Three months would be great!! I posted some more pictures on this thread, I'd love to go back sometime.My next trip is down to Cornwall so will enjoy the gardens down there as well.

Looks fantastic Pal, we will have to fit a visit in later in the year.

We joined the NT last year and visited Stourhead and Westonbirt, both we amazing places. If we are in Cambridgeshire sometime we will definitely visit Anglesea.
