We go to Bodnant Gardens about once a month from when they first open till the end of the season. There is always something to see.

i am tempted to go back for another day as it doesnt finish till sunday night..those on here that like exotics would be in their element with all the bananas and tree ferns for sale..someone asked diarmuid about his hanging basket which was really funny and he got a rude reply..diarmuid doesnt...

....Paladin - you can get some super "Dorset" cream teas around Weymouth!!! ... and I think its a good job I don't like cream - the jeans wouldn't cope!!!! - but a good wedge of "Dorset" apple cake - mmmmmmm - nothing like it!! Mind you, I wouldn't refuse a fresh scone and home-made...

Might get down there for the whit holiday - was wanting to go and see Fishbourne again - haven't been there for a long time. Other half will just have to lie under a tree again while I'm there!!

Pete2255 - it looks like a lebanon one to me, by the trunk, although I was told that if the tips of the branches pointdown it's Atlantica.There's a really nice big tree that most people ahven't heard of there - a Tetradium danielii - if I can find my pic of it, I'll post it. Lovely glossy...
