Garden Visits

A pleasant visit to the Uni gardens this morning, probably well known by our Bristolian members. A couple of Orchids in the tropical house. Stanhopea Ocullata.Prosthechea Cochleata. Ouside .Eucomis Autumnalis. Tetrapanax Crassifolius. A huge 12ft plus Tetrapanax Papyrifera....

Not so, Java, it's a busy month for all of us and trying to keep track of things is no mean feat!

Visited today and as usual I was very impressed with the progress they are making. The walk is just beautiful with lovely scenery and planting and the "sample gardens" are always interesting. I wish I had remembered my camera. I did come back with yet more herb plants and seeds though!

Lovely pictures Mum and a lovely place. A castle celebrating it's 75th anniversary? That seems rather young to me and it obviously wasn't built for defensive reasons. My bungalow's only 10 years younger than that!
