I visited Sissinghurst in mid June and their rose garden was very beautiful, with many old rose varieties with amazing scent.

According to BBC South, the new owner is an Eastern European, who prefers to keep the garden private from now on :(

Just follow the queue, wiseoldowl! :lollol: Not really, it's generally OK. The path to the lakes and woods is by the National Trust giftshop - if I remember rightly it's signposted. It can get a little mucky underfoot if we've had lots of rain - I once saw a lady trying to do the woodland...
