Hello Mate, there's plenty of beautiful gardens on here to give you inspiration and sometimes it doesn't cost a lot and you can get some good bargains on ebay etc

Freesias - what am I doing wrong?
I've seen them miss a year... my mother has them thriving outside in south Wales, but one year they just took a break, then the bulbs sprouted again as if nothing had happened. The yellow ones...

Plum trees - safe distance from properties?
I would just prune for shape I think as plums are not usually massive trees..I wouldn't think the roots were a danger to the house but thats something they need to watch just in case.. Then...

Your garden sounds a similar size to mine, i had the same problem and ended splitting it in two only one neighbour could look in to a small part now when i put the awning out no one at the rear...
