Hi Dawn.I keep mine on a south facing windowsill with net curtains which stops the sun being too strong.These are mine that are in flower today.

They look more like toadstools to me, but they seem to be eating anything these days. I could never eat anything related to athlete's foot.

I have six melon plants. On a previous thread I asked if I was ever going to get any females flowers. My plants then started getting a bit over grown with side stems. So I decided to do a prune. Since then I have had 6 female flowers all of which I pollinated and it looks like a few more are...

Hello Liz, I keep my cuttings in the greenhouse over winter but it is not heated. However, we seldom have a hard frost here as we are right on the coast, I will give it a try, thanks for your help.

Thanks Pete, I'll give it a feed. I'm just about to re-pot it into an enormous pot (actually the old water tank from the loft - recycling at it's best!) I'm going to try it like that until next year, and then decide what to do with it. But if next door keep winding me up it might just find...

I posted this somewhere - dont know where - cant find it, so here goes again. When I went to dead head my calla lillies yesterday I noticed that they had little grean pea-like things inside the head. Are these seeds and can I plant them up? If so, when should I do it? Thanks
