In the UK a couple of my cronies in the production trade reckon that you grow lavenders from cuttings late in year one, then cut them hard in year two maybe three or four times and sell them in...

Liz. I can do it so it can't be hard.Just cut out the spine of the leaf and plant the two halves in the well drained compost with most of the leaf sticking out. The babies form in a short while.
