We have torrential rain and our Viburnum never stinks and we ave to pass it to and from the cars. On the other hand our Fig stunk like cat pee so we disposed of it.

insect netting advice please
Thanks Tetters, I know quite a bit about plants just always been a container growing due to lack of garden but now have a nice bungalow.. (dog 10 month old) Titch the Chihuahua shes my best mate lol

Homemade soil mix
Thanks for the reply never thought of using my cement mixer for this, was going to mix in barrow but this will make life so much easier. Have a ton of sharp sand aswell from doing my mums driveway...

Thanks @pete , @Verdun . I'll start potting them up into larger pots today . I made myself a cold frame over winter . This will be great for hardening off , I can leave lid open during the day...
