We've five wisterias, including this pink one, one branch of which comes out of garden and around the side of the house. We'd had it eight years before it decided to produce any blooms, despite it being pruned correctly. Can't remember the name of the variety.

Lace caps and Annabelle are totally different types of plants. Lace Caps flower from old wood and Annabelle flowers from new growth.

Certainly looks like it. Did you have one go to seed?If not it could have grown from a bit of root that got cut off.This one grew from a 10mm bit i broke off last year.

Glad youve got one.We have some running about . Havent had my big bonfire as of yet just incase theres one hiding in there.Its just a shame that the oh so lovely badger population has been allowed to explode resulting in the hedgehog population to collapse.
