Summer flowering Hellebore !
I had one last summer and the same one is flowering again now, never noticed if it flowered in winter, another sign of climate change,
plants getting confused.

Anybody have experience with Erica Arborea?
Take cuttings Silu. If those layered stems are large they wont be great to re plant. For conifers I tend to take heel cuttings and then trim them but most cuttings will take well right now.

Filling in gaps in hedge.
Some great ideas there. Thanks guys.I'll dig a recess for soaking first. Failing that the artificial ivy is something I'd never thought of and could be a good solution.

Trying To Identify soil type.
The tube test kits are simple and reliable. It's those cheap meter thingies with a long metal probe that are a waste of money.
