I grew from seed once, it takes a bit of patience for a few years till you get flowers though and then you have to work out what sex they are. I dont think they will come true.

Yes, looked them up, and the one's you chose are lovely. Bit disappointed with the Mourning Widow, flowers don't last long, and are much smaller than I expected, albeit a smashing colour.

Hi Ellie, from your list of creepy crawlies the one I would be most worried about is the tiny red spider. If it is really, really tiny then I think you may have Red Spider Mite. David.

Just see this belatedly, not sure Pete, I think there are some naturally coloured ones. Aglaonema normally have narrower leaves but there are always exceptions in botany.

I've grown them from seed this year and have them on the window sills throughout the house climbing up a cane. They are quite easy to grow from seed and by the looks of things a LOT cheaper.
