    Daisybelle, I bought an evergreen clematis in B&Q today-It's called Avalanche and should have white flowers in spring only so not as freeflowering as montana but at least you get some colour all...

    It depends on what kind of Iris it is. If it is tall Bearded Iris I don't let them go to seed. I usually remove the spent flower stalks and then take the foliage and make a fan shape out of them...
