Lilly of Valley, what now ?
OK lily of the valley.. I have tried these in my garden,so many times,but have never seen them the following year,why do they disappear. even potted up one year and planted them in early...

I,ve had the same problem several times while building my new garden. Leave a pile for just a short time and you are weeding it forever. Solved my problem with half dozen cheap plastic dustbins....

Yup, from seed BM, I dont regard it as a good grower over here. I'm not that well up on them, but I think they can become treelike in the tropics. Mine grow fast but only for a short period each...
Yup, from seed BM, I dont regard it as a good grower over here. I'm not that well up on them, but I think they can become treelike in the tropics. Mine grow fast but only for a short period each year so overall growth is slow, the lower leaves also drop, which can make them a bit leggy.

I had a plumbago wilmotii which I pruned every march down to about 2 buds from the ground, it probably depends on the type of plumbago you have though.
