Nice sized branch Scotkat.. I would definitely follow the seed instructions then, as well as trying to root some cuttings perhaps...

Long lanky plant with really nice flowers is my experience, grows like the clappers. And as David says, be careful of the brown dust that comes off the twigs, its are like itching powder.

Sorry its Narsissi Jenny I cant find as well, as its in flower and they wont get it till next year. If anyone has some growing Ill happily pay for postage.

Basicly yes, To put it very generally you should be looking at removing dead wood and a few healthy long stems, and tieing in the remainder of long stems and reduceing the lateral shoots by 1/3.

Thanks PG, I haven't seen anyone use the willow screening yet but rumour has it that it looks great. I'm just looking forward to the dappled shade in the summer with a G&T!
