I have used Spaldings several times. I have never had a problem with them. I have had bulbs which have all been very good & plants & all have been OK, but I usually like to go & choose my plants from local garden centre..

Those are just beautiful, shiney, and look quite old as well.I noticed this morning that my C viminalis is starting to open ...... and the C 'Flaming Fire' is really going into fire mode (no brushes just coloured leaves several times a year) ...

Thanks. I'm not sure about cutting it back too hard though as it says in the article that it can slow down the flowering. I might leave the Holly tree alone and plant the honeysuckle in the hedgerow and just leave it alone, trimming out the dead wood every year or so. That way the mature stems...

I think the word for the germination of passion flower seed is erratic, some seeds come up quick others take a time. I find that fresh seed taken from a fruit germinates faster than the really dry stuff you can buy. I'd put all the seed in warm water and leave to soak for a day and then sow at...

Yep , ok to split provided there's shoots on each part.I just make a clean cut then dust the cut edge with Flowers of Sulphur,i started off with just a few & now have loads.

If you do id paint it green, looks hideuse natural IMO

Hi wiseoldowl it is against a 6ft fence on one side and the back of the house on another,all i have added is a general purpose plant food before christmas,i will try to get a picture.Thanks a lot

I have seen in our local Wilkos store some of these Trees for just �£5 each they are in very good condition about 5ft in Height has anyone got one of these

Bashy, they seem to be growing a quite a rate, I assume we are talking about the tuberous kind here, can you perhaps put them somewhere cooler in good light but frost free, for a few weeks.
