i have been really excited over these past few days,all my seeds seem to be doing really well,i,ve potted on my allysum and petunias but the stems on these where so fragile i hope i havent damaged...

Roundup followed by Casron G. I think that the bed was very thick with grass roots though. Infact if you dug down you just got a lump of root instead of soil.

Slight change of tack, but it is clematis. My local Morrison's is selling off (end of line) clematis and honeysuckle at 89p. Not a lot of choice here but I bought a ville lyon and a honeysuckle...

That sounds possible Walnut but the plants get the normal light in the greenhouse for the same duration as those under cloches. Their only advantage is envirolight for about 4 hrs per day after dark.
